Our Children

We so far have 15 kids in the orutindo project which we are supporting through family and friends. we support them by giving them school fees, clothes, food, school materials and all we can land on. so each one of us is invited to support orutindo kids to give a bright future. Help somebody in your life and you will not regret.

Nsimire Davis

Age: 15 years

Short story:

Nsimire was born to two married parents. Though Nsimire is a girl who like school and wishing to have a bright future, she is faced with lots of family problems. Her father abandoned the whole family and joined and got another family though he keeps on disturbing Nsimires family. Nsimire has other 7 brothers and sisters and all these are on the shoulders of Nsimires mother. Her father does not like her at all to study but her herself loves school with passion.

One evening she came with the mother to ask if Orutindo can help and we accepted seeing the situation of the mother. So now Nsimire is one of the Orutindo Kids.

 

Ayebare Joan

Age:12

Short Story.

Ayebare Joan is simply a beautiful young girl only the tragedy fell her when she lost all her parents. Her parents died of Aids and now she lives like a helpless and lonely child. She is in school and she loves to study and also in the house of some relatives where she stays, she is a hardworking girl. We hope that Orutindo will manage to keep supporting her both in school and household.

 

Ndyamuhaki Yorobu

Age:14

Short Story

Ndyamuhaki is simply a nice boy. He lost his mother some years ago of cancer and three years ago lost his father as well. He is staying with the grandparents but the conditions are not so nice. More often they have no food. Orutindo has once in a while provided some food to the family because the grandmother has other grandkids to take care of and this is not easy. Ndyamuhaki has also gotten some problem with his hearing, he does not hear well, but he is a wonderful and hardworking boy. Orutindo would like to keep him as long as it is managable.

 

Niwahereza Amelia

Age:12

Short Story

Amelia is a sister to Ndyamuhaki. She lost her mother some years ago of cancer and three years ago lost her father as well. she is staying with the grandparents but the conditions are not so nice. More often they have no food. Orutindo has once in a while provided some food to the family because the grandmother has other grandkids to take care of and this is not easy. Orutindo would like to keep him as long as it is managable.

 

Kabaya

Age:7

Sex: Male

Short Story

Kabaya is one ever smiling boy even when sometimes he spends a day without food, he is ever smiling. His father is not known, his mother threw him a way and the grandmother who is also in very bad condition took him over. Through Orutindo, some friends have been able to help him with some clothes and something to sleep on. Any more help given to him will be highly appreciate. He likes school and he wants to study, he is in class 2.

Nahurira Leonard

Short Story:

Nahurira is one intelligent hardworking boy. Though all his parents, we took him up for orutindo because he lives like an orphan, the mother left him and got married somewhere else and abandoned him, then his father does not even know that he gave birth to him, so he lives with some relatives but it is so hard for him because this family has other orphans and the situation regarding food, school fees, clothes is so bad, he always has nothing but oruntindo once in a while when it can, helps with some food and some clothes.

 

Kabogoza Brian

Short story

Brian is such a hundsom and funny boy, he is also respectiful. The mother disappeared and her whereabouts are not known and the father also abandoned him. So he lives with the grandmother. Orutindo has often helped him with food and clothes and school fees and would like to continue helping him as long as it is possible.

 

Alleluia Joel

Age:15

Short Story

If I would like to define the word respect, I would define it as alleluia. This boy oh my God we love him so much. Father died, mother is sick of Aids. The home has no support at all and it is in bad state. Allelluis is supposed now to be in senior three but he had to repeat class 7 because he had no money to take him to the secondary. When we came to know about it, we inteviened and asked our friends in Poland(Maltezer) and they allowed to help with school fees for Allelluia. We were so happy and excited. Allelluia is now happy in school and he is studying well and he wants to be a doctor.

She is a very hardworking girl and trustworthy, she likes studying but school fees is a problem. She has now finished senior four and she cannot continue because she has no school fees. The mother is not able anymore to pay her school fee.

 

Kamutumba Diana

Short story

This is one of the most unfortunate girl one has ever met. All her parents died when she was around 3 year, the grand parents took her up and when she was 6 years old, the grand parents also died living her in the house alone. Her Aunt who had no where to stay came in and now stays with her but no food, no cloth and no school fees. So we are praying that orutindo gets finance to help her out.

Short story

This is one beautiful girl with a divorced mother who is not able to grow her. No food, no cloth, and no school fees. When the Orutindo gets enough finances, we would like to her her.
